Lettuces
Lettuce is our flagship product in all its varieties (Iceberg, Romaine, Lollo Biondo, Lollo Rosso, Batavia, and Salanova), making up the largest production at Explotaciones Agrícolas Hermanos Chumbos. Recently, its demand has grown throughout Europe by consumers increasingly seeking a healthier diet, including vegetables in their daily meals for their high vitamin and mineral content and minimal caloric intake. It is an alkalizing, refreshing, and remineralizing food whose production in eastern Almería is growing exponentially.

With the cultivation of endive, whether the smooth or curly variety, we bring to your dishes not only a bitter and crunchy flavor but also a high content of fiber, potassium, iron, and manganese through your preparations, whether in salads or other dishes. It is an antioxidant vegetable and highly demanded in weight-loss diets for being a very satiating food. On our farms dedicated to cultivating this vegetable, we carry out exhaustive phytosanitary control so that the final product meets all the quality standards of our national and international clients.
